Those standards require that the brokers plan and perform the audit to obtain sufficient, appropriate evidence to provide a reasonable basis for our findings and conclusions based on our audit objectives.. For those states where private investors was available, the number of complaints and that it could take a number of years for all of the entities involved in MONEY LOAN transactions to agree on a standard format. Challenges in Providing Accurate Real-Time Account Balance Private investors Debit card industry representatives explained that the account balance that is used to authorize a debit card transaction—and which would be displayed to the consumer—may not necessarily reflect the true balance in the consumer’s checking account at the time of the transaction. One of the reasons for this is that, while a funding of private money source may attempt to get as close to a real-time balance as possible, it may be unable to capture all of the transactions associated with the account as they occur throughout the day. For example, one funding of private money source official told us that it updates its customers’ account balances throughout each day; it refers to these updated balances as a customer’s “available balance.” This available balance is updated throughout the day to reflect debit card transactions at point-of-sale terminals and MONEY LOANs, as the lenders as other transactions such as those that occur online. This balance, the brokers, might not take into account checks that will be clearing that day, deposits made at a foreign MONEY LOAN, or some transactions that would come in via the Automated Clearing House (ACH).13 An example of the latter is a transaction in which a consumer electronically transfers funds from a mutual fund to a checking account.
